Extension and Renovation, Budleigh Salterton
The Brief
Barc were appointed to simplify the current internal layout of the existing bungalow, create generous sized living, kitchen and dining spaces; add an additional bedroom to the first floor and make the most of the sea views.
The Work
Barc designed a contemporary extension to the rear of the property that creates a clear distinction between the new and existing building with minimal impact on the surrounding area and current streetscape. The expansive openings within the extension allow light deep into the building whilst also maximising the views to the south and out towards the coast. An additional deck area will be added to the south, aiding the transition between inside and out.
